Adran 'I Can't Look At You' on Surrrealism
Yulia Niko placed Adran's "I Can't Look At You" eighth of 18 on her 'Melodig Week 13' on 27 February. The track, on Surrrealism and filed as Melodic House & Techno, was released the same day, in the closing weeks of the Tulum season. It runs at 123 BPM.
Adran has one release on record, since 24 April 2025, on HABITAT Records. Surrrealism described the release in its own words: "With a serious and dynamic groove, accompanied by deep and sentimental melodies."
Percussion and harmony hold equal ground here, over a sparse percussive surface, quiet in level with the peaks well clear, and a temperate top end that keeps the whole mix even. It is a restrained, melodic piece of Melodic House & Techno from a producer with only one release behind him, and an eighth place finish among 18 on that chart is a solid result for a catalogue this new.
