Ajna (BE), Samm (BE) 'Does It Matter' on Magnifik Music

Three separate DJs charted the Ajna Remix of 'Does It Matter' within the same span: Lunar Plane placed it third of 10 in his Summer 2023 chart on 30 June, "&ME" placed it third of 10 in Rapture on 11 June, and Gorje Hewek placed it 15th of 23 in SUMMERUN on 4 June. The remix lands on Magnifik Music, filed as Melodic House and Techno, running at 120 BPM in G minor, Camelot 6A.
Percussion and harmony hold equal ground throughout, with a busy percussive surface running beneath. The mix sits middling, with some give beneath its peaks, and the top end favours neither bright nor dark, a balanced read built to sit comfortably in more than one kind of set. That balance is likely why it found its way onto three different charts within weeks of each other: nothing about it demands a particular room, so it fits whichever one it lands in. Three separate placings, all within striking distance of the top, says plenty about how widely this remix travelled this summer.
