Ben & Vincent 'Flying Circus' on WAYU Records

Ben & Vincent's 'Flying Circus', in the Akira Arasawa Remix on WAYU Records, is filed as Organic House and was released on 24 January 2025. It comes to Berlin on a cold night under a full moon. Sabo placed it 17th of 20 on his 'Origins in Bali Chart' on 27 April, a list where DJ Gregory, Africanism and Baron (FR)'s 'Block Party' in the Baron Extended Remix, on Yellow Productions, sits at 18th.

Ben & Vincent have released eight records since 18 March 2022, five of them on Cosmic Awakenings, and their most recent before this remix was 'Afsane', on Sounds Of Sirin, on 10 January 2025. Percussion and harmony hold equal ground here, neither crowding nor thinning the mix, sitting loud and tight against its peaks, with a dark top end that gives the remix real weight. It is a patient, well judged rework, holding its shape rather than reaching for drama, and a 17th place finish among 20 on Sabo's own list still puts it inside a genuinely competitive field.
