Braev, Adam Sellouk 'Solaris' on Interstellar Recordings (Insomniac)

'Solaris' was released on Interstellar Recordings (Insomniac) on 25 July and has already charted with some of the most discerning selectors. Massano placed it at number 10 in his Massano's Do It Again Chart on 28 July, as the third entry on a chart that included his own track with A.D.O.R. 'Renegade Master' on Simulate Recordings, which was covered on 10 July and placed at third. The track has got a certain sense of restraint that sets it apart. It is one of those records that knows how to hold a crowd, with more emphasis on the chord than on any percussive flash. The drums stay steady, never stealing focus, while the sound stays at a middling level with moderate movement under the peaks, and a treble that carries the emotion without pushing too hard.

The release has also landed at an important time in the season, with high season in Ibiza in full swing. Massano, who has made 'Solaris' a key part of his sets, plays at Amnesia Ibiza on 30 July as part of the Resistance Ibiza line up. He shares the bill with Artbat, Gordo (1), ANNA and Stephan Bodzin. The track has found a natural home in the sets of such names, and it is easy to see why it is building such momentum at this key moment of the summer.
