Camden Cox, Layton Giordani 'Destiny' on MADMINDS

Lost Frequencies placed the Extended Mix of 'Destiny' 17th of 20 in his Found Frequencies chart on 14 May. The track was released on MADMINDS in February, filed as Melodic House and Techno, running at 129 BPM in C minor, Camelot 5A.

Camden Cox's catalogue runs to 30 releases since July 2018, weighted toward Toolroom, which accounts for eight of them; the most recent before this was 'Surround Me', in the Extended Mix, on Monstercat, in September. The mix splits evenly between percussion and harmony, with the percussion kept unhurried throughout. It is a loud record with little give under its peaks, and it runs dark at the top, a dense, weighted read. A finish of 17th of 20 is toward the bottom of a large chart, but a catalogue this deep rarely needs one placement to make its case.
