Da Africa Deep 'Feel The Love' on One People (Back Catalogue)
One People (Back Catalogue) framed the release in its own words: "Having collaborated with some of the continent's key players, Da Africa Deep's name is synonymous with Afro-house." 'Feel The Love' is filed as Afro House and was released 26 April.
Hyenah placed the track 12th of 15 in the 'Ready For Summer' chart on 23 May. Da Africa Deep has six releases since 27 May 2021, most recently 'Tomorrow' on My Other Side of the Moon, 29 September 2023, two apiece there and on Under Bridges.
The mix splits evenly between percussion and harmony, with not much happening across the drums and not much air up top. It's held back in level, with moderate movement under its peaks, patient rather than propulsive.
One People (Back Catalogue) was last covered on 3 March, with Nes Mburu and Alex Wann's 'Peperuke feat. Nes Mburu'.
