Danidane, MAAURA 'Like Dat' on Klub Record

The Black Coffee set at Hï Ibiza on 21 Jun is one of the most anticipated bookings of the Ibiza season. The Hï Ibiza bill carries Henrik Schwarz, Da Capo, Damian Lazarus and Lilya Mandre, and the room is guaranteed to be at capacity given the dates fall across the longest days of the year.

One of the records that has soundtracked the season so far is 'Like Dat' by Danidane and MAAURA, in the Ape Drums Remix. Black Coffee placed it fourth of 10 in his Summer Chart on 20 Jun, a day before the Hï Ibiza date. That it is charted by Black Coffee at the start of the season is significant, and a good indicator of what might be heard in the room.

The percussion is weighted, crowded. It sits loud and tight against its peaks. The highs are forward. It is not a record that needs any more persuasion, and it knows it.
