Dave DK 'Herzen auf' on Pampa Records

Pampa Records introduced the release in its own words: "Our next Maxi EP (PAMPA041) with three wonderful tracks by Dave DK is out now, but we'll spare everyone the Promo Palaver and let the wonderful music speak for itself." 'Herzen auf' is filed as Melodic House & Techno and was released 2 August.

Gorje Hewek placed the track first of 23 in the 'Desert Voice' chart on 16 August, a chart where WhoMadeWho, Blue Hawaii and Adam Ten's 'Kiss Me Hard' sits at fourth.

Dave DK has released 44 records since 16 April 2012, mostly on Kompakt, 13, with eight on Anjunadeep, seven on Natura Viva In The Mix and six on Songspire Records; the most recent before this was 'Pot-Pourri 2' on Natura Viva In The Mix, 8 March.

The percussive layer does the heavy lifting, crowded but controlled, sitting at a modest level with room to spare under its peaks. The top end stays bright throughout, giving the track a clear, open finish.
