8Bit frames 'La Bamboula' as dancefloor euphoria, and its own release note calls out "mesmerizing vocals, intense grooves, and wild breakdowns" running through the record. The track, credited to Dimitri Andreas and Igor Vicente in the Novox Mix, is an organic house cut driven mostly by its drums. The same night, WhoMadeWho played Pacha Ibiza, on a bill that also carried CamelPhat and Josh Gigante.

Dimitri Andreas has released widely across labels including Natura Viva, Black Hole Recordings, Suara and Yoshitoshi Recordings, and his last one before this was 'Ritmo Ritmo', on Natura Viva, back in May.

The drums do most of the work here, spaced out generously rather than crowding the mix. It is a groove built to run long, matching the dancefloor rush the 8Bit release note promised.
