Dirty South, Jantine 'In Bloom' on This Never Happened

'In Bloom' is Dirty South and Jantine's first release on This Never Happened since 'Endless, Dawn Remixed' came out on 21 June 2024, a gap of about eight months. The Extended Mix is filed as Melodic House & Techno and carries a release date of 20 February.

Dirty South placed it first of 10 in his own In Bloom Chart on 20 February, ahead of Osfur, UVITA and The Scripture's 'PERMISSION TO MOVE', on Magnifik Music, at third. Topping a chart of 10 is a strong result.

The track is built around its harmony rather than its percussion, with the drums leaving plenty of room around it, sitting quiet in level with the peaks well clear and a top end pitched between bright and dark. The mix is a patient, spacious one, fitting for a pairing marking eight months away from the label.
