Doruk (TR) takes 'Bounce' out on ICONYC, a carefully layered cut that turns on a sturdy synth pulse and a bassline that stays low and wide. The percussion is crisp and unhurried, leaving the melody room to roll, and the result is a track that moves with a steady, purposeful gait.
The release has drawn attention from the DJ booths: Space Motion placed it second in his Rico chart of 10 November, while Yulia Niko gave it 14th spot in her Melodig Week 1 chart of 18 October. It also marks ICONYC's tenth release of the year, with the label keeping up a steady run of melodic house and techno records through 2025.

Comprised of three vibrant club hybrids, Doruks latest compendium is a lush take on modern dancefloors, balancing sophistication with an unadulterated rush of blood to the head. Opening procedures for Bounce, the Turkish artist deploys throbbing low-end pulses that drift over a driving frame before unearthing a most sensual vocal for an alluring call that draws us under its midnight spell. Suddenly, sharp chords are unleashed upon us, creating a most colorful maelstrom of flavor that lights up the piece as we are ordered to Bounce while ondulating synths rummage in tempered waves for a complete submersion into bliss-land. For the titular cut, Saisons Perdues, Doruk expertly shifts gears as a stabbed bassline takes control, thrusting us forward into a gutural vocal chant that imbues the piece with a primal feel.
