Elderbrook, Ahmed Spins 'Waterfall' on Mine Recordings

Pete Tong placed 'Waterfall' by Elderbrook and Ahmed Spins ninth of 20 in his 'Pete Tong Spring 2025' chart on 16 April, as the Tulum season moved through its last weeks. The track is filed as Melodic House and Techno on Mine Recordings, released on 9 April; the same list placed Trikk and MEUTE's 'Raiva', on Innervisions, at 12th.

Elderbrook brings 33 releases since March 2015 into this one, mostly on Defected, Armada Music Albums, Ultra and This Never Happened, with 'Defected XXV' on Defected, from October last year, the release just before this. Harmony carries the weight of 'Waterfall', its hit pattern light and airy, held back in level with room left under the peaks and a shaded top end. It is a graceful, harmony led piece of melodic house and techno, patient in its build and warm in its restraint.
