Franc Fala 'Indy' on Armada Music
'Indy' is Armada Music's 137th release of 2024, one of 149 the label has counted this year so far. Franc Fala's Extended Mix is filed as Melodic House and Techno and was released 10 May, arriving in the opening weeks of the Ibiza season.
The track keeps an even hand between drum and tone, with a spare drum figure leaving plenty of space around it. The level stays moderate and moderately open under its own peaks, and a treble that carries clean keeps the mix present without ever crowding it. It is a composed, well spaced piece of production, confident in how little it needs to make its point.
Yulia Niko placed 'Indy' third of 15 on her Higher Chart on 13 May, a list where three of the 15 records carry the Armada Music name. Armada Music last covered Maxim Lany, Cartouche and Matt Fax's 'Why Do I feat. Cartouche' on 28 April, and this one adds to an already busy year for the label.
