Gorgon City, Julia Church 'A Lot Like Heaven' on Positiva

The final weeks of the Ibiza season, the closing parties, still have plenty to offer, and Gorgon City's vocals, with Julia Church, have been given an extended mix for the floor.

Space Motion has taken this track to the first position in his Chart of the Week, with 12 tracks. Space Motion's take adds a soaring, melodic and cinematic edge to the original, with the Extended Mix pushing every element to its peak.

Those chords carry it, the melody does the work; a spare drum figure keeps the arrangement moving, the production sitting at a middling level with some room under the peaks, half bright at the top. It arrives on Positiva, released 22 September 2023.

Both artists have been busy on the road. Gorgon City played Amnesia Ibiza on 18 September for the club's Amnesia Presents party, alongside Greta Levska, Danny Howard and Sonny Fodera.

Since 1 July 2013, Gorgon City has had 50 releases, mostly on REALM, REALM Records, Crosstown Rebels and Defected.

Space Motion, meanwhile, has had 97 releases since 22 August 2016, mostly on his own Space Motion Records, UV, Freegrant Music and One Of A Kind.
