Jamie Stevens "With You" on Music To Die For

At 122 BPM, "With You" is the slowest of the six Progressive House records this week, whose tempos run from 122 to 127. The Alex O'Rion Remix was released on Music To Die For in April, filed as Progressive House, and Marsh placed it fourth of 10 in his own Beside chart on 5 May.

It marks Jamie Stevens's first release on Music To Die For since 'Tassolem', in the Mixes, a gap of about two months. The percussive layer does the work here, with many hits packed into the beat. Levels sit high, flat under the peaks, and there is plenty of air at the top, an active, bright read that belies its own slow tempo. Fourth of 10 is a solid result for the single slowest record on the list this week.
