The note Sapiens Recordings put out with the release says Jean Claude Ades "reimagines Rockwell's classic 80s tune 'Somebody is Watching Me' for Sapiens." 'This Feeling', filed as Melodic House and Techno, arrived on the label in October, and Agoria placed it seventh of 23 in his November 2025 chart on 21 November, a field where six of the 23 records already carry the Sapiens Recordings name.

Jean Claude Ades' catalogue runs to 26 releases since September 2006, weighted toward Great Stuff Recordings, which accounts for six of them; the most recent before this was 'Summerians - Tulum', on Armada Music Albums, in March 2023. The mix stays balanced between percussion and harmony, with an airy hit pattern running through it. Levels sit held back, with room left under the peaks, and the top end runs airy, an open, unhurried read that leaves plenty of space in the mix. Seventh of 23 in a chart this large, on a label already claiming six of its slots, is a solid result for a track built around a familiar hook reworked for the floor.

The label said

Jean Claude Ades reimagines Rockwell’s classic 80s tune "Somebody is Watching Me" for Sapiens with masterful restraint and contemporary vision. Taking Michael Jackson’s iconic hook into a modern era of clubbing, the theme of the song could not be more relevant today. The Ibiza and Mykonos mainstay infuses old-school rhythmic patterns with his signature deep house sensibilities, creating a hypnotic dancefloor narrative that bridges decades effortlessly. Through the music, Jean Claude highlights a social concern: Feeling surveilled even when we are meant to let our hair down, in spaces where freedom should be encouraged yet clubbers nowadays act with restraint. This release further cements Ades' reputation as a producer who honours classics while reimagining them through his sophisticated sonic lens.
