Martin Waslewski 'Undressed' on Didschn

Super Flu placed 'Undressed' eighth of 12 on his AMA chart on 14 January, a list that also carried his own 'Dear Friend' with Dancing on Lego on Monaberry at sixth. Martin Waslewski's record on Didschn, filed as Melodic House and Techno, has been out since 1 December, arriving in the first weeks of the Tulum season under a full moon.

The record keeps an even split between drum and chord, with unhurried percussion giving both room to breathe. The level stays low and moderately open under its own peaks, and an airy top end keeps the whole mix light rather than dense. It is a patient, evenly weighted piece of production, comfortable taking its time rather than pushing toward a peak.

'Undressed' is one of 40 releases from Martin Waslewski since 14 March 2014, eight of them on Monaberry, seven on Natura Viva, four on Poesie Musik and three on Get Physical Music; the most recent before this was 'Rise' on Monaberry on 18 August. It is a considered addition to an already sizable catalogue, unhurried and confident in its own pace.
