Matt Mus, Cedric Marian 'Diarabi' on MoBlack Records
'Diarabi' marks Matt Mus and Cedric Marian's first release on MoBlack Records; their most recent release before this was on Dolma Records in October 2024, '10 Years Dolma' with DOLBY D. The track, filed as Afro House, was released on 18 October, and Hyenah placed it 14th of 19 in the 'Energy Charts' chart on 18 December, as the Tulum season opens.
Percussion carries more weight than harmony here, its surface kept sparse under a level held down and free beneath the peaks. The top end sits in a middling place, neither pushed forward nor pulled back.
Hyenah's chart also carried Apple Gule, Dj Drift Franklyn and Sol Novaro's 'Energy', on Rise Music, at first. MoBlack Records was last covered on 18 May, with MoBlack, VHOOR, Tuyo, FBC and Tato (BR)'s 'Clareou feat. FBC feat. VHOOR feat. Tuyo'.
