Miss Malevich 'Jemme' on Wired World

Adriatique placed 'Jemme' sixth of nine on their own Dream Charts on 2 September, a list that also carried &lez's 'The Rhythm Of Dancing' on SIZE Records at seventh. Miss Malevich's Afro House record on Wired World was released 2 August, arriving as Berlin moves through September under an early light.

At 122 BPM, the percussive layer does the work, with an even drum figure keeping steady time throughout. The level stays held back with room left under the peaks, and a bright top end lifts the whole mix. It is a poised, percussion led piece of production, confident enough to let space and rhythm carry it together.

A placing inside the top six of Adriatique's own chart, this early in September, is a strong sign for a record still finding its wider audience.
