Mpho.Wav 'UNDERGROUND' on Platoon

Shimza placed 'UNDERGROUND' third of 17 in his own Hype Label of The Month chart on 8 Oct, and has a date at Club Space Miami on 11 Oct for Hugel & Shimza.

The Mpho.Wav track, on Platoon and filed as Afro House, came out in late September, running at 120 BPM in G minor, Camelot 6A, as Miami moves through the month of October.

That Club Space Miami bill also carries Hugel, Ms. Mada and Thunderpony, a full night of names alongside Shimza's own.

The drums carry it, a dense hit pattern sitting low in level and open under its peaks, with a top end that keeps plenty of air. Third of 17 in Shimza's own chart, the same week he has a Miami date alongside Hugel, keeps the record well inside the top five of a chart with a full 17 entries to its name.
