Nils Hoffmann, Rae Morris 'Lonely feat. Rae Morris' on Anjunadeep
Nils Hoffmann pairs with Rae Morris again for 'Lonely', out on Anjunadeep in an Extended Mix and lifted from his coming 'Phenomena I' EP, due at the end of July. The Berlin-based producer and Rae Morris worked together before on the label with 'A Radiant Sign (Remixed)' back in March.
Chords carry the track throughout, the percussion kept light, and the whole thing plays loud, with barely any room to breathe.
Rae Morris brings a voice familiar from her work with Lane 8 on 'No Fun' to the pairing's latest outing.
Above & Beyond placed 'Lonely' sixth of 10 in their Summer 2023 chart, one of three entries from Anjunadeep on the list; Andrew Bayer, Alison May and Grandfather Machine's 'I Would', on Anjunabeats, followed at eighth.
