PAVL 'After Dark' on Of Us Records
David Guetta placed 'After Dark' eighth of 10 in his own January Crazy Selection chart on 27 Jan, and Yulia Niko had it 13th of 17 on her Melodig Week 9 chart from 15 Jan, on Of Us Records and filed as Melodic House & Techno, as Tulum enters the first weeks of its own season.
Of Us Records described it saying, "After Dark embodies the quiet restlessness of late-night hours, when the world sleeps but the mind refuses to."
Harmony does more work than percussion here, many hits landing on the beat under a loud mix held tight against its own peaks, with a dark top end running throughout the whole record, at 126 BPM in G major, Camelot 9B. Charted twice inside the same fortnight by two different DJs, 'After Dark' has already found more than one audience before the season properly gets going.
