Shallou, Rinzen 'Burnin' feat. Shallou' on This Never Happened

'Burnin' feat. Shallou' is Shallou and Rinzen's first release on This Never Happened since 5 April 2024's 'Bend to the Light', a gap of about seven months. The Tim Engelhardt Extended Mix of the track was released on 8 November, filed as Melodic House and Techno. Engelhardt placed it second of 10 in his own 'Small Steps' Chart on 18 November.

The mix gives as much space to harmony as to percussion, its thick run of percussion held back to leave plenty of room under the peaks. The top end stays lit throughout, adding shimmer without crowding the rest of the arrangement.

The same 'Small Steps' Chart placed Adam Ten and Emma El Shir's 'Alor (feat. Emma El Shir)' at eighth, on Abracadabra Music.
