Tony Finger's 'Cantare' is an exercise in restraint. At 120 BPM it is the slowest of the eight Afro House records on this chart, and while its neighbours push harder into percussive pressure, this one holds a steady, even hand between drum and tone. The hit pattern is plain and regular, the mix rises in level with peaks barely clearing, and an airy top end leaves space for the ear to wander. It does not need to move fast to move a room; it simply sits in the groove and lets the listener come to it.

The track arrives in an Extended Mix on Vamos Music, released 28 March 2025, and is the latest in a short but focused run from Finger, who has put out two records since 25 April on Play This! Records and Club Session. In G minor and running at a steady 120 BPM, it fits neatly into a warm Berlin early-summer set, where the sun is still high and the dancefloor has not yet reached its peak. It is a record that rewards patience, and one that will find its moment.
