Valentina Soto 'Count Up' on AETERNA Records

Innellea placed 'Count Up' seventh of 10 in his Lost Charts chart on 24 Jul, in a week that has both Ibiza and Mykonos deep into peak season. The Extended cut of the Valentina Soto track, on AETERNA Records and filed as Melodic House & Techno, came out in July, running at 128 BPM.

There is as much harmony in it as percussion, and the drums keep to themselves, leaving a middling level with some room under the peaks and a top end that never pushes past comfortable. It is a record built for the space between peaks rather than for the peaks themselves, patient rather than loud.

Innellea also has a date of his own that week, on the bill at Pacha Ibiza on 5 Aug alongside CamelPhat, Colyn and Samm (BE), the same stretch in which his own chart placed 'Count Up' seventh of 10.
