Will DeKeizer 'Hypnodome' on Plattenbank
'Hypnodome' is Plattenbank's sixth release of 2023 on Beatport, the label's whole output for the year to date, and it turns up fifth of 10 on Cristoph's own FaCEt 2.1 Chart from 5 Oct. Plattenbank introduced the release saying, "The opening track, Hypnodome, establishes the tone for the structure throughout the release."
Its weight sits in the drums, a percussion part with a lot going on beneath a low level that stays open under the peaks, with an airy top end throughout. The mix leaves space rather than filling it, a patient approach for a track that opens rather than closes its own release.
Fifth of 10 on a chart also carrying PACS's 'Transient' at 10th keeps the record comfortably mid-table.
