Works of Intent 'Measure of a Man' on Emotional Weaponry
Marco Bailey placed Works of Intent's 'Measure of a Man' 18th of 21 in his Bring it up Spring Y2K25 chart on 3 March, in the last weeks of Tulum's stretch. The record landed on Emotional Weaponry on 7 February, filed as Melodic House and Techno and running at 130 BPM.
Emotional Weaponry described it saying, "A voice, familiar yet distant, cuts through the haze between thunderous snare strikes and low-end percussion engineered for impact." Percussion leads the mix throughout, a steady percussive surface pushed to a forward level with almost no room left under the peaks and a lit top end. Earning any placing at all in a field of 21 with that much weight up front says the record found the right chart for it.
Marco Bailey's own list also carries Vince Watson's 'Gliding' at 13th, on Elektronik Zoo Sounds.
