Club Caviar 'Game Over' on Armada Music

On his new remix of Club Caviar's 'Game Over', Amsterdam's Jochem Hamerling takes an early-2000s club classic and turns it into a crowded, urgent piece of modern melodic techno. The original's hook remains, but the surrounding arrangement has been pulled into the present, with tight percussion and a loud, driving energy that keeps the pressure on from the first bar.

Armada Music says the record "instantly whips the crowd into a frenzy," and the description fits: the remix draws from both the retro club trend and the contemporary melodic techno sound, with a dense, rolling groove that leaves little room for breathing. It is music aimed squarely at the main stage, the kind of record that works best when the crowd is already at full tilt.

The release arrives as Armada continues to push its melodic house and techno output, and Hamerling's take on 'Game Over' is a strong example of that direction, equal parts nostalgia and forward motion.
