Eric David Hoegemeyer 'Root and Stem' on Mishbaka Records

Ten Walls placed the John Tejada Remix of 'Root and Stem' 20th of 24 in his Autumn Collection 2025 chart on 13 November. The remix, filed as Melodic House and Techno, arrived on Mishbaka Records in September, running at 125 BPM in G flat minor, Camelot 11A.

John Tejada brings a catalogue of 86 releases since August 2002 to the remix, weighted toward Kompakt, which accounts for 29 of them; his most recent before this was 'Kompakt 500', on Kompakt, in May. The mix stays balanced between percussion and harmony, with a moderate count of hits to the beat. Levels sit forward, with some room under the peaks, and the top end runs dark, a close, grounded read that keeps both elements in view. A finish of 20th of 24 is toward the bottom of a large chart, but a remixer with a catalogue this deep rarely needs one placement to make the case.
