Ferreck Dawn, Clementine Douglas, Meduza 'I Got Nothing' on Defected
'I Got Nothing' lands as Defected's 47th release of 2023, with the label's tally for the year now at 48, and came out on 8 December. MEDUZA, Ferreck Dawn and Clementine Douglas combine on the track, pairing Meduza's production with Ferreck Dawn's house background and Clementine Douglas's vocal.
Meduza placed it first of eight in the MEDUZA x DEFECTED chart, published 12 December, a list where seven of the eight records carry the Defected label.
Tone carries over rhythm, the percussion holding a steady surface, and the mix runs forward, leaving barely any space before it tops out.
'I Got Nothing' plays as a melodic house and techno cut, out now on Defected in its Extended Mix.
