Spencer Brown, Qrion '20ms' on diviine

'20ms' is diviine's fifth release of 2023 on Beatport, out of five total from the label this year up to 17 December. The Cristoph Extended Mix of Spencer Brown and Qrion's track is filed as Progressive House and was released on 1 December, as Miami sat in its dry season. Yulia Niko placed it first of 12 on her 'Higher Chart' on 12 December.

Spencer Brown was last covered on 15 September, with '20ms', on diviine. Spencer Brown and Qrion return to diviine about two months after 29 September 2023's 'Equanimity'.

The mix splits evenly between percussion and harmony, over a settled drum pattern, neither loud nor quiet and moderately clear of its peaks, with a top end pitched between bright and dark. It is a considered, well balanced rework that trusts its own restraint, and topping a chart of 12 with it is a strong early signal for the release.
