Jazzuelle 'Timbuktu' on Aluku Records

Aluku Records credits Aluku Rebels for both A&R and artwork on 'Timbuktu', with mastering handled separately by Sweet Audio Mastering (SA). Jazzuelle has released mostly through Get Physical Music and Lazy Days Music over the years, and his last one before this was 'Get Physical Radio by Roland Leesker', on Get Physical Music, back in June. 'Timbuktu' itself runs at 122 BPM in E flat major, a fairly rare pairing for a record built at that particular tempo.
Timbuktu leans on its drums more than its chords, running full and steady throughout its entire length without ever letting up. It is a drum-led Afro house cut, out now on Aluku Records, credited entirely to Jazzuelle alone on the release.

This two track African Electronic ep Jazzuelle wanted to venture more away from the deep house/tech style of signature sound he is known for over the years and present two different style of Afro House music with Timbuktu a more Ancestral Tribal Tech track with hard hitting drums in a deeper style of vibe and on the flip side Sagitta a much more Afro tech cross over Melodic Techno style of a track will punchy synth stabs and uplifting Kenyan hypnotic vocals which could fit into two different arenas or even big stage electronic dance music settings.
