Liquid Rose 'Drum Theory' on Make The Girls Dance Records

[IBIZA] Liquid Rose's 'Drum Theory' (Extended Mix) has been picked up by HUGEL, who placed the record at number three in the tenth entry of his 2024 Make The Girls Dance Chart series (Vol. 15, posted 27 September). The record, out now on Make The Girls Dance Records, has already received a first spin in the chart a week prior, when HUGEL placed it at number eight in Vol. 14. This week, eight of the ten records in HUGEL's latest chart are on Make The Girls Dance Records.

'Drum Theory' is an Afro House track defined by a percussion arrangement that does more than accompany the harmony. A busy, detailed percussion part keeps the record moving with a middling energy level that maintains headroom, while the top end stays dark. It is a useful tool for DJs who want to play Afro House without the track taking over the mix.

Liquid Rose's release arrives ahead of HUGEL's appearance at Amnesia Ibiza on 28 September, as part of the elrow Ibiza Closing Party (New Theme TBA). The Amnesia Ibiza bill that night also carries Bastian Bux, Chelina Manuhutu, Toni Varga and Eats Everything. HUGEL is in the closing weeks of the Ibiza season.
