Malive 'Sinergia' on Organic Tunes
'Sinergia' marks Malive's first release on Organic Tunes, following 'Loira' on Monaberry, in September. The label's own note describes the EP as featuring "two evocative tracks: the title track Sinergia and a collaboration with The Organism titled A Day To Remember." JØRD placed it fifth of 12 in his "Reasons" Chart on 21 January.
Its weight sits in the drums, with a steady percussive surface throughout. It sits loud and forward, with little movement under its peaks, and the top end runs dim, a dense, close read. Fifth of 12 is a solid result for a first release on a new label.
