'No More' arrives on Reconsider Music in the middle of August and locks into a deep, percussive groove that feels built for a room slowly filling with smoke and bodies. The percussion is thin on the ground, but it does the work, snapping tight against a dimmed top end that keeps the whole record breathing low and slow. It is a loud record, but one with little give under its peaks, each hit landing square and deliberate. The 124 BPM push is unhurried, almost patient, letting the spaces between the elements carry as much weight as the hits themselves.

Michael Ritter comes to the track with a long and steady tail of releases behind him, 27 since August 2020, with homes on Polyptych Bundles, YOMO Records, Lowbit and Kitchen Recordings. This one finds him paired with Felix E, and the two share a bill at Kater in Berlin on 24 August as part of the DAS 20 YEARS OF EVERYTHING & ANYTHING FEST, a line-up that also carries Neobeo, Joséphine de Retour, Enes Çakır and Johannes Albert. The track has already found an early champion in Yulia Niko, who placed it fourth on her Burning Man Essentials chart of 22 August.
