Teho 'Lyra' on Labo T
'Lyra' is Labo T's 10th release of 2023 on Beatport, the label's whole output for the year to date, and it turns up seventh of 17 on Gorje Hewek's own Afterburn chart from 23 Oct. Labo T introduced it saying, "For Teho, Lyra is the end of an era and a new beginning in his musical and personal life. Lyra was produced right before Teho moved to his new house wearing the same name."
Gorje Hewek's own chart also carries Renate, Presi On and Augusto Yepes's 'Mawu' at 12th, on Abracadabra Music.
The harmony runs the record, many hits landing on the beat under a forward level with almost no room left under the peaks, and a moderate brightness on top. Seventh of 17 keeps 'Lyra' in the upper half of a crowded chart, on a label that has spent its whole year building toward this one release count.
