'Echoes of the First Tongue' is DeepShine Music's ninth release of 2026, with the label's tally for the year now at 11. The track came out on 24 June 2026, credited solely to ONYX Nights, the sole artist named on the release.

Lost Desert placed it 16th of 20 in a chart he compiled himself, published 24 June 2026, the same day the track itself arrived on the label.

'Echoes of the First Tongue' plays as an organic house cut, running at 123 BPM in F minor, Camelot 4A.

Sharam Jey placed COMPO's new track seventh of 10 in his 'SHARAM JEY CHARTS JUNE 2026' chart on 19 June, as the Ibiza season settled in. The track is filed as Melodic House and Techno on Bunny Tiger Dubs, released on 22 May, tuned at 127 BPM in A minor, Camelot 8A.

An even split between drum and chord carries the track, its percussion unhurried throughout the arrangement. It sits quiet in level with the peaks well clear, giving the mix plenty of room to move, and a treble that carries lifts everything from below. It is a controlled, patient piece of melodic house and techno, confident in its restraint and clean in its execution, built with a steady hand from top to bottom.

Yulia Niko's Melodig chart on 26 June is dated a week after her previous chart, and it has a different character to it, as well as a different number of records in it. It is a chart with a very clear idea of what it wants to be, and at its head is 'So Good,' a record by Timelapse, Adran. It is a debut for both artists on AXEPT.

'So Good' is not the kind of record that wears its drama on its sleeve. It is a percussion record at heart, and the rhythm section is given a lot of room, but the harmony is given equal ground. The percussion part has a lot in it, and it carries the record through its peaks, which are not steep but have some give beneath them. The top end is temperate, and the record feels like it is made for rooms where the sound system rewards restraint as much as force. It is a record that rewards a patient listen, and it is a strong way for Timelapse, Adran to introduce themselves to the label.

Yulia Niko's chart has five records from AXEPT in it, and this one sits at the top, which suggests the label is doing something right with the artists it is bringing through.
